OEUK Offshore Medical
The OEUK (Offshore Energy UK) certification is widely recognized across the global energy sector and serves as the primary certification for both the English and Danish offshore industries. Previously known as OGUK (Oil and Gas UK), OEUK certification ensures high standards of quality. Only doctors approved by OEUK are authorized to conduct OEUK medical examinations. All physicians at Medhealth are experienced and certified OEUK doctors. If needed, a night work medical certificate can be added as an optional service.

Review of current and past medical history
Assessment of physical and mental health through questionnaire and doctor consultation
Objective medical examination focusing on functional level and mobility
Dental status evaluation
Vision test and visual field examination
Heart and lung auscultation
Hearing test and ear examination (otoscopy)
Examination for inguinal hernia
Screening of mobility, muscle strength, and neurological function
Urine test for screening kidney disease, diabetes, and blood
Lung function test (if indicated)
Effective Period and Special Conditions
An OEUK certification without restrictions is valid for up to 2 years and is recognized in most parts of the world. However, some operators or companies may impose additional requirements.
For health-related reasons, the certificate's validity may be shortened or issued with restrictions, such as location-specific approval. In such cases, it may be necessary to provide:
Approval from the operator's or company's medical advisor
Documentation from the treating specialist (e.g., in cases of chronic physical or mental illness)
The purpose of an OEUK medical is to ensure that you are physically and mentally fit to work under the specific conditions offshore – and that your health status does not pose a risk to yourself or others.
